It all started when…

Boyd Media Studio was founded in 2022 with the motto of “document students doing great things” and has blossomed since. Brandon Boyd is the owner of Boyd Media Studio and serves at the Mississippi FIRST Tech Challenge Head Referee and Media Manager collaborating with students across the state by guiding them in the operation of live streams and event photography at FIRST Robotics events throughout the year. Boyd Media Studio has collaborated with FIRST organizations in all three programs (FIRST LEGO League, FIRST Tech Challenge, and FIRST Robotics Competition) in Mississippi, Louisiana, Montana, and Kentucky.

Outside of FIRST Robotics, Boyd Media Studio captures marching band festivals and competitions, concert recording and live streams, sports events of all kinds, and many other student driven events.
